Artist Brief Background

Swedish born and for the first twelve years, living in a tiny rural village half an hour from Malmoe. 1981 the family moved to Marbella, Spain. This became the base for the next forty years which has been a huge advantage in my work, understanding two different cultures in a natural manner. Artistically I have a built in eye for the Scandinavian minimalistic approach and at the same time the Spanish passion and warmth in visual art.

I have travelled extensively throughout southern Spain and sixty plus nature parks have been scouted for timeless imagery. Slow deliberate photography with, in my opinion, the most inspirational camera system in the world. Alpa 12 System. A technical setup with perspective control and endless possibilities in combining numerous digital backs and world class optics for unsurpassed technical quality.

Schiller International University is my academic background with a Bachelors degree in Marketing from the Madrid, London, Heidelberg & Duniden campuses. This period of my life broaden my horizon and gave me an invaluable network of friends from every cornor of the globe.

Creative precision are two words that I live by. Tirelessly trying to think outside the box but never compromising on technical quality. Photography has been a huge part of my life since childhood, professionally for over three decades. It still amazes me that the passion remains as strong as ever and it humbles me realizing that I still have so much to learn.

Let me inspire you with my work and hopefully you will find one that is strong enough to grace your wall.
